Papers submitted for publication in Southeast Asia Journal of Current Research and Studies (SAJRAS) must conform to the following author guidelines. Authors are required to ensure that manuscripts meet the journal’s academic standards, formatting requirements, ethical principles, and submission procedures before submitting their work through the online submission system.
```All manuscripts must be submitted to the Southeast Asia Journal of Current Research and Studies through the online submission system at the journal portal. Authors must register as an author and may also register as a reviewer through the journal’s online platform. The submitted article must be a scientific work, either based on empirical research or conceptual ideas. The manuscript must not have been published previously in any journal and must not be submitted simultaneously to another journal.
```If the content and format of the submitted manuscript are considered appropriate by the editors, the manuscript will be sent for a blind peer-review process by independent referees. Revisions may be required based on the reviewers’ comments before the final editorial decision is made to accept or reject the manuscript.
```Manuscripts returned to authors for revision must be revised and resubmitted without unnecessary delay. Revised manuscripts should be submitted through the online submission interface of the Southeast Asia Journal of Current Research and Studies. Revised manuscripts returned later than two months may be considered as new submissions.
```The manuscript will be published in the Southeast Asia Journal of Current Research and Studies after completing the peer-review process and receiving an “Accepted” decision from the editor. Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English. The minimum length of the paper is 12 pages, excluding abstract and references.
In general, the manuscript should be organized in the following order: Title, Authors’ Names, Authors’ Affiliations, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Method, Findings and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
```The title is the author’s opportunity to attract the reader’s attention. Therefore, the title of the manuscript must be concise, specific, informative, and complete.
```The article title must be followed by the names, affiliations, and corresponding emails of the authors. Authors’ names should be written without academic titles or professional positions such as Prof., Dr., Production Manager, and others.
The abstract should stand alone, which means that no citation should be included in the abstract. Authors should avoid technical jargon and uncommon abbreviations. The abstract must be precise, honest, accurate, brief, clear, and specific.
The introduction provides the context or background of the study, including the gap between expected and actual conditions. It should be supported by the latest relevant theories and studies related to the research problem. The introduction should also clearly present the novelty or new value of the research. This section should not exceed 20% of the body of the article.
```The method section describes the rationale for the application of specific procedures or techniques used to identify, select, and analyze information. This section should be written clearly and concisely, providing practical information concerning the research methods, procedures, tools, materials, or instruments.
The findings section should be presented before the discussion section. Each section should stand alone as a subtitle. Findings and discussion should comprise not less than 60% of the entire body of the manuscript.
The discussion section is one of the most important parts of the article. It should interpret the findings in accordance with the theories used and should not merely repeat the results. The discussion must be enriched by referring to previous studies published in scientific journals.
```Pictures and tables must be presented clearly and should support the explanation in the manuscript. Information and titles of pictures and tables must be included. Authors should mention the name of the table or figure specifically when referring to it in the text.
The conclusion should answer the objectives of the research and explain how the work advances the field from the present state of knowledge. Authors should not repeat the abstract or merely list the research results. The conclusion should provide a clear scientific justification for the study, indicate possible applications and extensions, and suggest future research directions when relevant.
```This section presents the authors’ appreciation to sponsors, funding institutions, resource persons, or other parties who have made important contributions to the research.
```Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero to manage citations and references. References must be arranged alphabetically. All references cited in the manuscript must be listed in the reference section, and all references listed must be cited in the manuscript.
