Publication Ethics

Allogio : Journal of Law, Education and Economic Development is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. This publication ethics statement applies to all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.

The journal follows internationally recognized principles of ethical scholarly publishing, including transparency, originality, confidentiality, fairness, accountability, and integrity in the peer-review and publication process.

Duties of Editors

Editors are responsible for ensuring that every manuscript submitted to Allogio : Journal of Law, Education and Economic Development is evaluated fairly, objectively, and professionally.

The editorial decision is based on the manuscript’s relevance to the journal scope, originality, academic quality, methodological soundness, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the fields of law, education, economics, and development studies.

Editors must not discriminate against authors based on gender, ethnicity, religion, nationality, institutional affiliation, political view, or other personal characteristics. Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must not disclose any information about a manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, editorial board members, and the publisher when necessary.

Editors must avoid conflicts of interest. If an editor has a personal, academic, financial, or institutional conflict with a manuscript, the editor must withdraw from the editorial process and assign the manuscript to another qualified editor.

Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers play an important role in assisting editors in making editorial decisions and helping authors improve the quality of their manuscripts.

Reviewers must conduct reviews objectively, constructively, and professionally. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Review comments should be clear, evidence-based, and relevant to improving the academic quality of the manuscript.

Reviewers must keep all manuscripts confidential. Manuscripts received for review must not be shared, discussed, copied, or used for personal advantage. Reviewers must also disclose any potential conflict of interest and decline the review assignment if they are unable to provide an objective evaluation.

Duties of Authors

Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not under consideration by another journal at the same time.

Authors are responsible for presenting accurate, honest, and complete research findings. Data, citations, references, and interpretations must be presented clearly and responsibly. Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, and data manipulation are serious violations of publication ethics.

Authors must properly acknowledge all sources used in the manuscript. Any work, ideas, data, or words from other researchers must be cited appropriately. Authors must also ensure that the manuscript follows the journal’s author guidelines and citation style.

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, analysis, interpretation, or writing of the manuscript. All listed authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission.

Authors must disclose any potential conflict of interest, including financial, institutional, personal, or professional relationships that may influence the research or interpretation of the findings. Sources of funding, if any, must also be clearly stated.

Plagiarism and Similarity

Allogio : Journal of Law, Education and Economic Development does not tolerate plagiarism in any form. All submitted manuscripts may be checked using plagiarism detection tools or similarity checking software.

Manuscripts with unacceptable similarity levels, plagiarism, improper citation, duplicate publication, or unethical use of sources may be rejected before review, returned for revision, or withdrawn from the publication process.

Corrections, Retractions, and Withdrawal

The journal is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record. If errors, ethical violations, plagiarism, data manipulation, duplicate publication, or other forms of misconduct are discovered after publication, the editorial team may issue corrections, expressions of concern, retractions, or article withdrawals, depending on the seriousness of the case.

Publication Misconduct
